The stock joystick on the New Peak isn’t the greatest—it makes a funny static air noise that drove me crazy. So, this was actually the very first mod I did to the 2024 release New Peak (the updated OG Peak without Bluetooth), and it made a big difference.
Not only does it run nearly silent now, but it also improves vapor density by adding a bit of restriction at the nozzle. That means it produces more vapor at lower temperatures, which is a win all around.
The best part? You can still use your stock silicone thumb pad, and it looks completely stock once installed—but the performance upgrade is substantial.
